The North Sails Class Sail Development (CSD) has been heavily involved in the Melges 32 class since its inception in 2005. We are continually racing in Melges 32 events, testing our sails and making improvements that keep North customers in the lead. North Sails does more testing and development in the Melges 32 than all other sailmakers combined.

Congratulations to Jason Carroll and crew on his Melges 32
Argo for winning the Melges 32 U.S. Nationals in Rye, NY June 9-12, 2011. Carroll and company scored five bullets in the 8 race series (they didn't sail the final race) and finished an impressive 15 points ahead of the 2nd place boat. Congratulations to the
Intac Team and the
SLED team for finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. All three boats are powered by North Class Sail Development (CSD) inventories.
